"My design philosophy has been based in sustainability from the start of my journey at the age of six, where I started off learning to crochet and then quilt from the women of my community. Using what I have on hand is ingrained in my design process. The women of the group would give me their yarn and fabric scraps and I would work with what I had. Now as an adult I have carried that over with me, there is no excess to be thrown away and discarded nothing is made until you, the customer order it."
